I wanted C to have something special to wear for our trip up north so I decided to knit up a whole set for her along with a matching snowman :) Here it is!

Wow! What a lovely outfit and what a lucky daughter! I only hope I can create things as gorgeous when I (finally) learn to knit.

Absolutely gorgeous, Nicole! Can you PLEASE come out here and teach me how to knit as lovely as you do :) ????

Absolutely gorgeous! I'm not sure what impresses me more, how lovely the outfit and snowmen are, or that a mom with young children can actually find time to knit! What an heirloom!

Oh wow everyone! Thank you so very much for your kind words!! I am not very confident in my knitting still. I have only been knitting 2 1/2 years now so i still consider myself brand new :)

Kimberley the pattern is here: http://cadilily.blogspot.com/2008/05/baby-cap.html
hth!!

Marina- I wish we lived closer so I could teach you! I have a feeling we could spend hours talking and knitting ;)

Kimara- tee hee. I am very lucky to have kiddos that need to go to bed at 7 each night. Thats the only way I can get in my knitting!!

again thank you everyone!!! <3

Those are wonderful - if you don't mind sharing, where did you find the snowman pattern?

Thank you for your blog - I've enjoyed reading for a few months now!

Elizabeth, thank you! I am glad you are enjoying! That is so sweet of you to let me know.
The pattern is from 'living Crafts' magazine the Winter 2009 issue.

Thank you - one of my friends told me about that magazine, now I just may have to justify the subscription cost (under our homeschooling budget, of course!)
