Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

KCCO

Now that the horse is completed I am back to work on C's belated birthday gift. I am falling more and more in love with this yarn with every stitch I make. The sweater is moving along pretty quickly thanks to a couple of date nights/movie nights with Kevin. I am so looking forward to seeing this on her!

What are you working on?! Happy creating!

oh goodness! What a busy time it must be!
It's like berry juice! So nice!
Nicole,

Your photos are always so beautiful. I was wondering what equipment you are using and if you have any formal training. My photo skills could definitely use some work!

Thanks!

Hi Ravenna,

You are so incredibly sweet to say that - Thank You! All of my photos are taken with a new to me Canon EOS 40D in natural light. I love my 50mm f1.4 lens and it never leaves my camera, well, it's also the only lens that I currently have! :p I have had a love of photography for most of my life but have only used a digital camera for about the past four years. During the late 90s I briefly studied photography (with film, pre-digital age) at the Atlanta College of Art but that feels like a lifetime ago and I admit I have just about forgotten all that I learned. Not to mention what a difference there is between film and digital photography! I am now pretty much starting back at the beginning, learning as I go with trial and error as my guide. I love the art of taking the photograph itself so I prefer not to use photo editing software, at least not at this time. Who knows, I may change my mind someday. I hope that helps and it you have any other questions please do let me know!
I love the colour, very gorgeous.
