Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

KCCO - What does my L say?

I know it's New Year's eve and many of you are probably preparing for celebrations but I actually have a new project to share (after what feels like forever), so I decided to do a KCCO post, even if I am the only one!

Little L saw this yarn and kept pointing to it and saying, "Bubba want dis." He was very adamant about me knitting him something with it. The colorway is called red fox and is more of a rust red than the pink it appears to be in my photograph. Little L has a fox obsession at the moment (thanks to Daddy), so this was very appropriate. I looked through my knitting patterns and found this cute little vest. Ah, it was just meant to be. The pattern only goes up to 2T but Little L is a small guy so it should still work. I just plan on adding a bit more length. Crossing my fingers that it works out!

What are you working on?! Happy creating! Happy New Year, too!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

My two year old has an obsession with foxes now, too! I don't have a picture of it, but I made her this Foxy hat for Christmas and she LOVES it. My 4 year old wanted one too, so I ended up making her the Wolfie one. :) http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/foxy--wol...

Oh how funny! I was just looking at that hat pattern to use up any leftover yarn I might have from this project!
Nicole,
We have a fox thing going on at our house too - Emmy (2 years) loves the song introduced to her by her older siblings - and she has fox leather slip ons, a stuffed fox for Christmas from her older brother, and she never tires of watching the video with her oldest sister:)
Love the color of your new vest.
Ylvis has infected the whole world with a delightful fox obsession!
We're foxy round here a lot of the time too.
That pattern looks so cute!
love that pattern. i think i might have to get it.
I can't wait to see the final result. Looks like nice yarn.
