The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.
I met with K's handwork teacher today for the last time (sob, sob) and she gave me the project you see pictured above that K was working on in class - a gnome! I love looking at her work in progress, so I just had to share it here with a late in the day photo. I hope you don't mind. This project brought about a new skill for K - purling! We'll be finishing her gnome together in the upcoming weeks.
I, on the other hand, have nothing to show for this week. Unless you want to count puffy eyes, a stomach in knots and half empty boxes everywhere.
What are you working on?! Happy creating!
p.s. - I went ahead and put up our Advent and Christmas reading list on the sidebar. I have to say that it was a slightly selfish thing to do. With all the chaos going on right now, it brought me great comfort to scour Amazon for all of our favorite books to share with you. For some reason they are not all showing up right now, but I will come back and try to update it again later.
