Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

KCCO - rainy day picture

Thank you, everyone for your kind comments and encouraging words on my last KCCO post. They mean so much to me.  I have a lot going on project wise right now. Perhaps even too much? Nah, couldn't be!  I finished up C's Christmas sweater and just need to block it. So there is one gift down. I also finished K's Little House shawl but I modified it as I was knitting and I am not so happy with the choices I made. I should have know better then to mess with a perfect pattern. I plan on ripping it back to the lace section and redoing it. Thankfully it's all decreases from there so it should move along quickly.

I also have the girls Santa Lucia dresses in the works along with Little L's Santa Lucia outfit. I had grand plans for these items but with time not on my side, I had to rein myself in. Little L will get a pair of white flannel pants and just wear a white shirt he already has. The girls will get simple white flannel dresses (similar to the ones I made them two years ago).

In other news, with all of the issues many of you have been having with the Mister Linky link-up widget I decided to try something new for this week. I am hoping I did it correctly. You get to link up a picture of your work too with this widget. I would love to hear what you all think, if you have a preference of one over the other and if this one works for everyone. Please do let me know!

Come back for a great giveaway coming up later this week. Perfect for the upcoming holidays!

What are you working on?! Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

That sweater is gorgeous! I love that design down the front.
Beautiful!

Also I like the photo link up.
It's beautiful... That green! I want it for myself!
I love the photo link up :)

My posts are in french but you can use the trabslation widget, but I guess the pictures speaks for themselves!
Thank you for the photo link, it adds soooo much. I love it. It's so exciting to see a picture of what everyone is making. It is so great. Love your sweater and the Little House shawl looks good but I understand your dilemma. Good luck with fixing it. That always makes me crazy when I have to redo things. But it makes it better when I do.

Much better! Love the photo link up too!
Wow! What a throughput on knitting! I love the little house shawl pattern. I hope you will be happier with it, if you do decide to redo the last part.
Really like the new photo link solution, too! It shows the diversity of "hand made". So inspiring!
Beautiful knitting as always!
Love the colours.
Lovley projects!

Thanks for hosting! This form to link works ok to me.
I love the cable/lace design down the front, very pretty :)

I prefer the links with photos, it's nice seeing everyone's projects displayed together
Loving the purple sweater! Beautiful!
Thank you for hosting! I am in love with the purple sweater! I really get frustrated with myself when I end up thinking a pattern was better before MY alterations. Hopefully you'll get it worked out and be super happy with the final results!

I didn't have any issues linking up today. :-) I really am open to pretty much any method of linking up.
Your knitting looks grand! and the linkup worked well for me. I like the little pictures a lot! :-)
