Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

Please forgive my absence yesterday, Purple Grandma is in town for a visit and I am exhausted at the end of the day! This explains my quick project photo in the back of our van (as we were driving, no less). But please notice the pretty wooden crate it is in - we've been flea market shopping! I'll have to share our finds later. You should see what my K picked out...

And as you can see, I couldn't resist the temptation of my Luna Grey yarn any longer. It's knitting up beautifully. I am anxious to get past the garter stitch portion and on to some lace.

How about you?! What are you working on? Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

the wooden crate is nice and I love the grey! I look forward to seeing what it becomes
I must confess, I really envy you for being able to knit while driving in the car. I've tried, but I get sick after seconds... Beautiful yarn!!! Best wishes from Vienna, Austria, Katharina

Hi Nicole,
Enjoy your time with your Purple Grandma (love that!). Can't wait to see your finished sweater. It looks like the yarn is knitting up nicely : )

I love the beautiful color and sheen of the yarn, so soft looking! I so wish there were flea markets we could go to up here in Alaska. I think I need to head down states with a few empty bags and go on a flea market shopping extravaganza! :)

You know, Kevin wantsus to move to Alaska. I might have to tell him I can't live without my flea markets :p
What pretty yarn and the market crate makes a perfect background :)
The yarn and the colors you chose are always so beautiful!
I was so hoping for a glimpse of what that gorgeous grey is becoming...patience, I suppose!
Looks like it's knitting up beautifully. Love the flea market box!
I have given to my urge to knit and am knitting my husband a scarf, whether he wants one or not. I have dusted off my knitting skills, it's been YEARS!, and am happily knitting along. It is so soothing for the soul.
