Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

This weeks KCCO post will be short and sweet told (mostly) through photographs. You see, it's the first day of spring and I procrastinated finishing up any 'root children projects' I had going until... now. ahem.

A project K and I made together using this fun fabricand the cards (I later laminated) from here. Notice the piece I need the most is on top ;) Not only did my girls get a cute game out of this project but it brought about some much needed one-on-one time with K. She was pretty proud of it, too.

Those little flowers are SO cute! We'll have to make time for that. :)
Love the flowers!
Dear Nicole,
What a great idea to keep the cards in! We love those St Joseph cards.
I am thinking of a whole heap of little bags for our numerous sets of cards.
Where did you get the pattern for the flowers from?
I am hoping to have my project up to share in the next couple of days
Blessings

I love your crafting post. What lovely yellow yarn! I think that is it neat you used to live in Hampton Roads :) Small world for sure. I do love it here but I so wish we had a bit more normal seasons. Happy Spring!!
I love the cards you made and the fabric of the little bags you made to put them in, so cute! Also that is just perfect yellow yarn, so warm and cheery :)
Misselthwaite!!! I can't wait to see it finished I have drooled over that design for years and was so excited to see it released I snapped up a copy the same day. Maybe this baby will be a girl and I will finally have someone to knit this for. I love your blog I have been reading it for a few years now and I just wanted to let you know how much I look forward to reading your posts. You have inspired our family in so many ways. Please try hard to not let negative people's comments get to you, I know it is much easier said than done but some people just find their pleasures in life by hurting others to make themselves seem better or more important.

What pretty flowers! I just posted about a watercolor I painted of the root children and a couple of root children wooden eggs I made. Have to go check out those cards you posted about. Thanks for hosting the link up! Always fun seeing what everyone is working on.
