4 Years After Crossing the Rainbow Bridge...

My sweet little K turned four on Saturday.
We made the day fully circled around K's desires and let her plan everything.
Here is a glimpse at her special day:

This years birthday ring addition (looks just like her kitty Midnight)

Cake topper from my 4th birthday

Make-shift birthday table

I finished her replacement slipper just in time and K baby got a new special outfit.

Reading her new book with Daddy

A butterfly opens her gifts from Nana and Grandma

K requested to play at her future school's playground

Admiring the creek on the school's property

I think she truly enjoyed her day!

It looks so special and sweet! My baby is approaching 1 year, and while I know he won't quite grasp the significance, I am "collecting" traditions I'd like to start for our family. Yours are so beautiful! +Chelsea

Thank you everyone! It was a bit insane trying to pull this together while in the middle of limbo, I won't lie, but I think we did ok enough :)

Christine - I just got them from the Steiner Store house last week. It's a book called 'Goodnight'. I don't want to mis-spell the artist's name so I will get back to you on that ;)

That's neat, my daughter turned four on September 20th. What a lovely little celebration.

Is your baby's white cap a hand knit? I have a very bald 8 month-old going into Fall and Winter and I'd love that pattern.
