The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. I haven't yet sewn the button on Baby F's popcorn vest, I keep going back and forth between the black walnut and the red cedar ones. There
will be a button on that vest by the end of the week though! In other news, inspired by some new friends on Instagram, I am knitting Baby F
a pixie hat or as C used to call them a "Gnomie, gnomie, gnomie hat". She and K wore them a lot their first few years of life.
