Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.
kcco - sharky colors!
I am done with the three girls' hats. Woo hoo, halfway there! I just might get this project done in time after all. Now I am on to the boys, starting with Little L. He requested blues and greys, or what he calls "sharky colors".

What are you working on? Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post, Instagram #craftingon or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

OK, this is regarding yesterday's book request list. I suggested a few for K on your Facebook page. Did you see them? If not, here are some more. I was a bookworm too at that age, or I was on my bike (with roller skates on just in case) or in a tree. So, Secret Garden & Little Princess are great. Little Women & Five Little Peppers and How They Grew. Pollyanna, Heidi, the non-Disney Jungle Book, 101 Dalmations, and when K is older, I Capture the Castle. The original Nancy Drew's are great. Ballet Shoes and that series in good. Swiss Family Robinson, Tom Sawyer (wait on Huck Finn), and the recent series by Alan Bradley, about a girl K's age. The old classics are the best, I suppose that was why most were turned into movies (and not necessarily good ones or true to the book). If she likes Green Gables have her read Emily of New Moon, my fave or the Road to Avonlea series. So many books, so little time. Give K a big hug from me. OK, thought of one more, Hitty Her First 100 Years. Find the edition with the craft kit. She make her own doll. Fun!

<3 Thank you Tiffeni!! I am hoping to buy her a big stack of books for her birthday next month.
You are doing such a beautiful job with your hats. I made the baby pattern and it's got too much pull in between the stitches. I think I should have used a circular needle.
beautiful hats!! Love the different colors for the same design :)
