Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

KCCO
One can never have enough knitting projects going at once, or so it would seem with the way I have been knitting lately. What's one more?  I decided to join the Kelbourne Woolens May Day mystery knit-a-long. I have never done a mystery knit-a-long before, but they have always sounded so intriguing to me. Plus it gives me a taste of what knitting feels like for K. She is always given her handwork instructions a section at a time, not knowing what it is she is even making (a pig, currently!) We are on clue 2 right now and I am about halfway through it. I enjoy that each clue has been short so far. I feel like I can keep up with the pace.

What are you working on?! Happy creating!

No you are right you can never have too many knitting projects. I have five at the moment and some are badly neglected! I love the look for this pattern, a mystery knit-a-long does sound intriguing.....

it keeps our hands busy, right?
I always have multiple projects going on! I'm usually not a fan of Mystery KALs because I want to know what I'm making, but it looks like your project will be beautiful!

yeah, I am normally hesitant to try something of this nature but I thought I would make myself do it.
I've never tried a Mystery Knit Along. I'm not sure if I want too. I'm afraid that I might not like the product at the end. Your very brave:) The knit does look pretty.

Ha! I have thought of that. I figure if I don't like it, i'll give it to someone who does :)
Looks beautiful already! How intriguing!
beautiful shade of blue green (that is what it looks like over here!) I wish I was adventurous with mystery knitting but I tend to like to know exactly what I am knitting :) Cannot wait to see it all finished!

yes, blue green! I am always drawn to this color.
Thanks for hosting!
How exciting! I've done two MKALs, actually I'm just finishing the latter (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/sigurlaugelin/red-rock-canyon), and I think they're a great way to practice knitting skills I probably wouldn't have dared to try if I had known beforehand! Have fun, the yarn looks amazing :)

I agree. I love what I am learning so far!
I couldn't get the link to work :( but I found you on Rav - never mind!! :)
I just have to know: how do you get so many projects done? I feel like I'm drowning in crafts and I only have three active.

Hey Kristin! I actually don't get a lot done, just a lot in progress :p I can't seem to ever have idle hands. I think the weekly posts may make it seem like I get a lot more done than I actually do. But the times I do get to complete a project you can be guaranteed that my housework has fallen behind, or I went without sleep to do so.
