Fledglings

We spied with our little eyes... one two three four! Four little magpie fledglings in our lone backyard tree. What an adorable sight to see!

We have been hearing them for awhile but never did see them until now. They were low enough that even all three kiddos could see them (and our dogs could have them as a snack. Needless to say, our dogs won't have free rein of the backyard for a little while.) Mama and Papa dive-bombed me a couple times as I snapped these quick photographs, reminding me that they were nearby. Understanding their concern I quickly stepped away and went back to our patio. We are all looking forward to keeping up with this little family for days to come!
