Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

KCCO

I am slowly chugging along on Little L's birthday sweater. I  had a bit of a fit at the body decreases, just like I knew I would. A lot of knitter's notes warned me about that section. Ugh, I may go back and rip them out and try again if I have the time. For right now I decided to just move on the sleeves. Other than that one issue I am loving this little sweater! Little L will look like such a dapper young chap in it! I almost feel the need to sew him a bowtie...

For my knitting friends, please do check back later in the week for a knitting pattern giveaway!

What are you working on?! Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

Wow, this is so beautiful, Nicole!
I love that colour, very beautiful!
What a beautiful pattern and yarn!
I've had this sweater in my favorites for a while, and I'm loving your choice of color, and the photos so much, that it just might be time for me to cast on one for my little guy :)

Oh yes!! It will be worth it :)
I just finished my first very simple cardigan. I am hoping it will be a stepping stone to a project like yours! I can cable so maybe I am not too far off :) I just confused with patterns sometimes. Thanks for sharing!

Oh how fun! I think you could totally do a sweater like this!
Oh your sweater is looking so beautiful Nicole!
You are so fast! I do not like knitting sweaters from the bottom up- just doesn't feel right to me. Of course I've only done it once compared to all the top down sweaters I've made, but still, it didn't flow well for me. I'm sure you'll figure something out!

Oh I am right there with you. I love the ease of top down and the fact that you can try it on while still in progress. I loathe bottom up but sometimes I deal with them if the pattern is cute enough ;)
Oh my gosh, that sweater is already gorgeous and it's not even done yet! The colour and detail are stunning.

L's sweater will be lovely and such a pretty shade.
I love the colour and pattern you are working on! I found you via sustainable mum and I've linked up my frugal origami steampunk wedding bouquet I recently made - I hope you like it!
Love those cables!
Can't wait to see it done.
I adore the stitch definition so crisp and the color! Love the color :)
The sweater is looking great. I really like the colorway you picked with those cables and of course, Mad Tosh is yummy! :)
Wow that scrumptious yarn looks great all cabled up!
That sweater is the living end. So beautiful!
Those cables are gorgeous, what a beautiful project
What a lovely sweater!
Gorgeous color, and the cables are looking great! They really pop in that yarn.
Nicole, your knitting is always so inspiring. Love the cabling on this sweater :). Missing you friend, and glad to reconnect.
Beautiful work! That sweater is going to be sooo adorable! Your wee boy will be so cozy in that. : )
