Whenever we have errands to run, we try to throw in a little adventure to go along with them. Occasionally we will even bring one of our three crazy dogs with us. Such was the case when we had to take our van in to the shop for a tire that had been shaking for weeks. Our repair shop is in Oregon City and only a twenty minute walk or so from the Willamette river. We dropped the van off and went exploring for hours. It made the whole process of dealing with vehicle trouble seem much more pleasant, not to mention that my children had a blast playing in the water. Little things like this mean so much.
We were a bit taken back when we found out that the repair was much more serious than we realized. Our tire could have blown at any moment, but by grace alone, it did not. Grateful doesn't even begin to cover what I feel!!
