Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

The birthday dash is almost over. I need to fix C's birthday sweater, though. I thought the glazed pecan colorway would make a wonderful bunny but as you can see it blends in too much with the main colorway. It actually shows up better in this photograph than it does in person. Looking at it on my desk now, it really just looks like a dirt stain or something. Thankfully the bunny was done in duplicate stitch so I don't have to rip back my work. I am going to try the leftover winter wheat colorway to see if that shows up better. I originally tried white but that stood out too much for my taste. I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed and see how it all goes.

What are you working on? Happy creating!

p.s - Stay tuned for a fun giveaway later in the week.

Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! that bunny is so cute! I love the yarn for the main sweater, too.
Awww I can't wait to see it finished, it looks gorgeous! I'm so excited to be back on my laptop after months and months. I'll be joining back in the fun of KCCO soon! <3
Fun to see all of the works in progress and finished beauties! I did post a lovely finished hat that I made for my daughter, mixed in with some introspection.
I'm so glad you found just the right bunny. I looked at the Dutch magazines but the only bunnies I found huge and cartoonish.
Thank you so much for hosting today, I love seeing your projects and the projects of other crafty readers!

Beautiful knitting and colours, but you're right - a lighter colour will show off that adorable bunny so much more effectively. Thanks for hosting :)
Sweet rabbit- I have made an Owl!
Awe. The bunny is a great detail. Maybe adding a little embroidered eye, some outline, or a contrasting tail would make it pop more.
