Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

KCCO

C's special project is all done but I am waiting to get some pics of her in it. It came out just as I had envisioned. The little sneak peek pic above doesn't do justice to the yarn I used, but I will try my best to get some pictures this week. I think I need more and more Luna Grey yarn...

While I am at it, I will be begging Kevin to snap a few pics of Little L and I in our babywearing poncho - or as the girls named it 'papoosa'. We tried while out at a friend's birthday party over the weekend but the lighting just wasn't working out for us. Well, that and  two of the models were getting impatient (hint - both are boys and one is furry). I finished it up just in time for Autumn. It is quite big but it will work. I am very happy that it covered Little L so well at 18 months with room for him to grow.

KCCO - Phoebe doll sweater

I am somewhat in between projects at the moment so I picked up one of the girls' Christmas gifts - a Phoebe doll sweater. I should really be sewing or working on my cross stitching but right now I am happily avoiding both with more knitting. How about you? What are you working on? Are you avoiding anything, too?

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

I'm making socks for my kid right now. I had a first sock but I run out of yarn so I started over, I hope this will enough this time.
Love your poncho ant the grey sweater.
This is such an inspiring post! I love C's sweater, I will absolutely have to knit that...I'm thinking of starting a "someday" pile of tiny things... ;) I LOVE your papoosa! I hardly carry Dominic any more, (he's nearly 30 pounds!) but I really wanted one while I was carrying him...maybe I'll make one of the "someday" pile! I'm going to be knitting a Phoebe + her clothes for Christmas too! I'm nearly finished with J's sweater, then on to Phoebe. I have to figure out where I can hide gifts in this new house...there aren't many closets and my kids have major snooping tendencies... And I'm totally in love with Luna Grey too! I'm so glad to have found her through you! I actually am waiting on an order now....and have a giveaway in the works! Happy knitting dear xoxo

Oh, the sweater for C is lovely! I may need to make one of those for my wee girl. And the papoosa! Such a sweet picture of you and little L. That is beautiful, and looks so warm and cozy - you must have put so much work into that! (I love the name, too.) Can't wait to see the Phoebe doll sweater - I have the book and want to make the sweaters, too!
