Baby Booty Blues

These booties (rav notes) were originally made in August for my (then) 6 month old, but I didn't take any pictures of them-insert whining here of all the issues I had. I made them the biggest size as he was outgrowing the original booties (rav notes) I knit inspired by Amanda - I think everyone was inspired to knit them by her! He wore them a lot but his feet were always freezing in them. I felted them just enough in the washer last week and now they are nice and snug and warmer, too. He needs some more booties but I think I'll try out some other patterns or stick with my tried and true patterns (type 'booties' into search box)

What are you working on? Happy creating!

Taking a break from C's Phoebe sweater updates this week but if you have some updates on your Phoebe sweater for the KAL, please add them below, and don't forget to link back here.

Happy namesake day my sweet Baby L and Happy Saint Lucia day everyone!!

Those St. Lucia day photos are priceless! I always enjoy reading your thoughts, and watching your children grow is amazing. Thank you so much for your work!
Your Lucia crowns turned out so nice, and such sweet little Lucia's you have! And sweet blue eyed boy...
XOXOXO
Nicole, Your Santa Lucia costumes are beautiful...I recognize that crown and have wanted to make one myself...maybe next year. But really, now, that babe of yours is simply beautiful! Honest to goodness, beautiful!!!!!
xo Jules
I was totally distracted by those beautiful babies... the bootees are very cute- but my new favourite is baby socks!
Gorgeous photos Nicole!
The booties are so cute, and partially felted sounds like a perfect solution!
sorry I accidently linked, im not doing the knit along just pressed it by accident, please delete. cute photos
cute St Lucia & starboy outfits :o)
cute booties and baby :)
Those booties are precious. I will need to add that to my list this summer (due with #6 in June). Loved the pictures for St. Lucia Day. Great idea for the wreath and crown ... now, just how to make them!
Love those booties. I have several go-to bootie patterns, but I always seem to be drawn whenever someone mentions a new one.
Oh my gosh, the crowns and hat are fabulous! Would you perhapse do a tutorial of how to make each of them? They are just darling and I would love to have some for our family too!
They look great... the booties and the kids! haha!
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO P-r-e-c-i-o-u-s! Those little feet brought a smile to my day. The St. Lucia outfits are lovely, too!
Beautiful Nicole! Love your Lucia costumes!
Love the Santa Lucia dress, and both crowns, I hope to meet you some day because you do so many great things.
Oh darling little Santa Lucia outfits. I love the baby's outfit too. My toddler refused to keep his star hat on. I just posted photos from our Santa Lucia day yesterday.
oh my gosh how adorable. that is just the sweetest thing ever. love the crowns.
That Bernat pattern is my favorite bootie pattern too. What type of yarn were you using when Baby L's feet were cold? I've only tried it with a baby merino wool and we've had very toasty toes! I like the felting idea, maybe I will try the pattern sometime with large needles and try felting them to size for, hmmm, elf booties?? ;-)
