Current works in progress, around the home

...and our parent/child class at school

(hopefully these wet felted slippers will fit C when I am done)

What are you working on?

Happy creating!

Ooo what's that rainbow all about? I downloaded my first (gasp) sewing pattern for little baby bandanas. My bald girl needs soemthing to protect her head from the sun (hats always manage to fall off, even with chin straps). Simple but necessary.

You're going to take and post a million pics of your cutie in it, right?! :)
The rainbow silk pieces are for an angel mobile I am making L, like the one in Nova Natural but oh so much cheaper with silk scraps. I am hoping to post a tutorial for it once I finish it.
Adorable! Love it all. Can't wait to see your finished projects. :)
WIP Wednesday! How I missed it! Right now I am working on a white-on-white king size quilt for my bed. The thing is HUGE but it's been a really fun project so far!

Oh wow! We have a king sized bed, too and Ireally want to make a quilt for it but the size just scares me away from it. I think I need your inspiration!
Beautiful projects that you are busy with! I am busy with a Shalom Cardigan, socks and slippers at the moment:)
xo
PS Just wanted to check that the goat pattern reached your email?

Oh yay! I am hoping to start a Shalom for myself sometime soon.
And YES Iam so sorry I haven't e-mailed you back, I did get the goat pattern and it looks so perfect! I wasn't able to knit it up in time for spring (sick little ones) but I am hoping to make it soon for all three of my kiddos. I'll keep you updated :)
Just beautiful bits of goodness - much fun to see.
Ooh...a bluebird? Maybe? That is T's symbol at school. I keep thinking I need to make one for our spring nest. If you are indeed making a bluebird, I will have to ask for pointers.

I am making all kinds of things here. Most are on the needles, some are rattling around in my head and some are in snippets in crafting nooks.

Yep, a bluebird! :) I was making doves and C requested a bluebird to hang over their table. I am addicted to making these now.
Ooh, can't wait to see how those slippers come out!

Here, I'm working on a tea leaves cardi for K's birthday next month and finishing up a little lamb (given on Easter minus eyeballs...but she loves him anyway). An April Showers lace scarf for a dear friend's 30th birthday (last week...ahem, I am THAT knitter, oh well).

And I have a dozen ideas for more in my head! Definitely need to get out the sewing machine and start on the cute patterns in the Oliver + S book I picked up from the library.

Oh how fun! I might make my K a tiny tea leaves for her birthday this year, too. ..still deciding. Now that it's getting warmer here I am really wating to sew as well. I have been meaning to check my local library for that book - off to do that now! Thanks!
I just have to tell myself, 'just keep trying, just keep trying' when it feels like I'll never 'get there'... right? LOL

beautiful.
Oh... Here in my home far away from yours... there are also such a lot things waiting to be finished: A cover for an ugly plastic chair to step on under the sink in our tiny bathroom (It's done now! Yeah! Made it out of an torn towel), then there are lots of scraps to make a lap quilt (I'm just leraning to emphasize more on joy than accuracy- well... for now it's been quite fun), there is unwound wool to wind into balls for something to knit up... and there is our garden that waits for his new plants... I love this time now, when everything seems to be possible!

"I'm just leraning to emphasize more on joy than accuracy" Oh how I love this. You are so very wise, I need to do the same.
