Oh yes, life!

Life got in the way of me updating our blog this past week or so, so now I will try to slowly catch you back up.

We started a new night rhythm to help K know when bed-time is drawing near. Each night I give her a few coins to put in her piggie bank (AKA her Waldorf schooling savings fund). Her piggie bank plays the song 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' every time you put a coin in it, so she drops a coin, does a happy dance, drops another coin, dances some more, and keeps repeating until she runs out of coins. It's really funny to see!

We also have her put her favorite baby or toys of that day to sleep in her cradle. My Great Uncle John made me this cradle and I have since passed it on to K.

As you can see, she decided to make the cradle 'the family bed' last night with her puppy at the end, and mama, papa, boo boo (baby), baa baa (other baby), and gak gak (goose). She put so much time into this. It is so sweet. She nurses each item before they are placed in cradle and then she kisses them all good night and rocks them to sleep for a minute.

She was having problems trying to put on her PJs over her clothes last week. Pretty amusing to see!!
