Crafting On

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? After making Baby F's birthday cake candles I found myself re-inspired  to try to master beeswax jar candles. I can't ever get them to burn correctly when I make them but I am determined to figure it out. Here's to many rounds of trial and error!

Try braiding your wicks. They look small for the jar. My husband is a beekeeper and we're also perfecting our jar candles and which type of wax we like to burn best.

Thank you! Braid 3 wicks together? These are the x-large size wicks meant for 3 -4" diameter jars. They are the thickest I can find.
