Crafting On

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. My kiddos all have colds and the day got away from me so I couldn't capture my current WIP. Instead I am sharing C's finished belated birthday gift. It is rather a three in one gift. I stuffed it with rice (so she can put in the freezer for owies) and lavender (to help her sleep) and it has a pocket on the back for her to place her lost teeth for the tooth fairy. The fabric is soft linen (including the pocket) and the embroidered hedgehog was a little idea I had in my head for awhile. I am happy with how he came out.
