Crafting On

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two, post it on your blog, on Instagram #craftingon and/or Flickr and then share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

for B for B Dolphin for B

The endless rain as of late has had me feeling a bit blue (hence no blog post yesterday - I really didn't have anything to say). I tend to take less photos when I am feeling this way (well, that and it is just hard to get a good shot with no sunlight) so I didn't snap a photo of my current WIP. Instead I am sharing a gift I made for dear Bracken on his birthday at L's request - a little knit dolphin.
I have a feeling I will be knitting more of these dolphins in the near future, judging by the way Baby F kept grabbing this one as I tried to photograph it.

What are you working on? Happy creating!

*Sorry I forgot to add the widget!!! Here it is:*

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post, Instagram #craftingon or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join Crafting On can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the Crafting On posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Yay! I love Linda's patterns.
Bracken loves his dolphin! We all do! It's so sweet. Thank you again so very much. ...Yes, the rain has been heavy, Jeff said there is some sun in the forecast though! Hope some sun peeks through over there soon. <3

Eeeek! I have been so scatterbrained lately! Sorry about that. Added it now.
That is such a cute dolphin!
that is the cutest dolphin ever!!! I hope the sun comes out to brightens your days :)
Oh there is definitely something amazing about the sunshine, isn't there!? I understand the feeling...and I hope you feel better very soon. My mom always used to light candles and bake cookies when it rained, and I try to do something similar if I can. Even if it's just lighting candles. It makes everything cozier! My 9 yo son saw that dolphin and immediately fell in love. I may have to make him one!!
Your dolphin turned out beautifully Nicole!!!
Hope all is well and hope the sunshine returns soon.
xxx
