Crafting On

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two, post it on your blog, on Instagram #craftingon and/or Flickr and then share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.
When your 11 1/2 year old proclaims that she only wants to wear dresses made by her Mama from now on, you stop everything to accommodate, even moving prep and painting over your chalk wall. Okay well, maybe not stop completely, but at least try your best to find time to sew when you can. I am so glad the mover haven't come yet and that I was able to grab some of my fabric to set aside for at least four dresses for her. I don't know how much longer she'll want clothing made by me so I am going to take advantage of this while I can!
