Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two, post it on your blog, on Instagram #craftingon and/or Flickr and then share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.
KCCO I am currently working on some baby knitting to give to my pregnant friends before we leave here. Alas, no photos just yet though. Instead I thought I would share K's current WIP. She started this embroidery sampler a couple of years ago and then it got sucked into our home's black hole. It resurfaced the other day so now she is back at it. As I watched her work on it today it became clear to me that she might have my perfectionist gene - she thought her original stitches (from two years ago) were too sloppy and ripped them out so she could start all over fresh.

What are you working on? Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post, Instagram #craftingon or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

Her stitches look lovely and it's such a pretty piece, I'm glad it resurfaced :)
Don't you just cringe when the kids are upset with their creative endeavors, because they don't end up perfect? The imperfections is what I love the most about their creations! Her piece is darling!
What an adorable little embroidery! Thanks so much for hosting again x
How impressive! I was thinking this was your work. Children can do great things!
Beautiful piece of embroidery. Out of my six girls only two enjoy embroidery. I find it so relaxing. Different strokes.
I really like the colours I am crocheting a beanie
her stitching is lovely and I tend to be a perfectionist as well. It has pluses and minuses....doesn't it?
I like that little embroidery project. My fingers have been itching for more embroidery these days too.
That is beautiful. All those perfect little stitches. Yes I know about being a perfectionist. Trying not to pass it on. I think it is either in you or not...it is good to take pride in your work though and do it to the best of your ability, so it can be a good thing!
