Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.
kcco C's birthday sweater yarn just arrived on Saturday so I dropped the baby knitting to focus on her gift. Her birthday is next week after all! She already told me that she would understand if her present was late, my sweet, patient girl.

She had a very specific color in her head for her sweater this year and I didn't have it on hand. I ended up placing an order through Tanis Fiber Arts in Canada. I didn't even know if the yarn would arrive before her birthday came so I am relieved it is here and I can at least have her sweater started.

I wanted to thank all of you for your help in choosing her birthday sweater pattern this year. After a lot of back and forth, I went with Granny's Favorite (and I believe a few of you mentioned that one). So far it's knitting up fast and easy!

What are you working on? Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post, Instagram #craftingon or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

Ooh I love this color! That pattern is in my queue so I'm excited to see how yours turned out - I'm sure it will be adorable!
that is a beautiful color!! I love all the colors you knit with though :) I hope you get your knitting done in time.
I do love that color. It looks like a very simple easy knit and now on my wishlist. Thank you!
It's going to be such a pretty sweater!
Love the colour!
It's going to be a beautiful sweater.
Very nice, Nicole! I have admired that sweater pattern for a long time. Your little C is so sweet. : )
I love the color of that sweater. It is almost the color of my bathroom and I find it is so peaceful. I am not a crafty person really so I am currently not working on anything crafty! I hope to begin working on scrapbooks next week.
