Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.
KCCO My MadTosh yarn that I am using for the babywearing cover is bleeding like crazy so I am trying to set the dye again to see if that helps. I've got my fingers crossed!

C's birthday is sneaking up on me and she has requested a cardigan in a robin's egg blue. I am out of cardigan/sweater ideas and would love your thoughts. What is your favorite girl's cardigan pattern? She would need a size 8.

What are you working on? Happy creating!

Oh that is a pretty colour, I hope it sets and starts behaving itself! As for girl cardies, have you tried Antler or MOMO? I can't link to Rav right now but you'd find them easily enough by searching (or look for purple cardigans on my profile - I'm Cariemay). I've got bundles of Ravelry favourites for all three of my little ones and anything in Kitty's bundle would work (she's five but the size of an eight year old) but I haven't knit many of them so I can't vouch for the patterns.
Oh red dyes are so hard to work with! I have almost given up on using them, whether they are natural dyes or synthetic dyes, I struggle with them. I hope you can get the color to set, it does look lovely!

yes! I think after this I am giving up the red. ugh!!
Tikki knits posy and tikki knits granny's favourite
I agree with Tricia, Tikki makes great patterns, but I would suggest 'Little Butterflies'. It is so girly sweet!
Little oak is a great one. So is granny's favorite! 😊
I'm a big fan of the "Shalom" cardigan with mini mods for girls. If you're feeling more adventurous though a "Bulle" sweater dress knits up amazingly fast considering its a sweater dress. Also the "Bloomsbury" pullover is really pretty looking, but I would definitely not knit that late at night, I found that out the hard way lol.
Bulle , I second this!
Love that color. I do not do yarn work although I did crochet at one time. I would love to do things like this, but never find the time. I also love the photo of your girls that is one this blog.
Hello Lovely Friend,

I am just now casting off the "Cove Cardigan" by Heidi May for my own sweet girl-who-needed-a-size-8. :) It is lovely and the ruffle bit in back with the 3/4 length sleeve makes for a unique and fun knit. Did you get my email with a picture of my own little bub?

Hugs

<3 I did!! I am so sorry I haven't responded yet. I am so thrilled for you and will respond soon (once my own little guy gives me a minute).
I've made 3 of Ginny Sheller's "Sunday Sweater" for my granddaughters and they were a big hit. I second "Granny's Favorite and would also suggest "Bella" by Dani Sunshine. Lovely color yarn!
Hi ! I am about to cast on a Granny Favourite for my niece. You may want to check "Miss Marple" (cardigan with front lace panel http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/miss-marp... or Artichaut (artichoke in French), a short-sleeved wrapover top http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/artichaut...
