Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

My very last appointment with my midwife is next week. I don't want it to end but I guess I have to accept what is. I wanted to do something as a thank you to her for helping my little miracle come into this world and for giving me the support and compassion I have always wanted in my pregnancies. She is pregnant and due soon. She comments on Baby F's hand knits each time I see her - especially his Nikka's hat so I thought I would make one for her baby. I am hoping to have some other things for her, too, but my sweet baby is rather colicky so I don't know what I can realistically accomplish.

What are you working on? Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post, Instagram #craftingon or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

Oh what a wonderful way to say thank you! I'm sure she's going to love it; gorgeous coloured yarn too!
That gift will be so much appreciated! The yarn is beautiful!
She will love that hat. I've made a few of those now, it's a great pattern.

If you get a chance, take a look at the "heartbreakingly cute pilot cap" on Ravelry. A very similar pattern but makes an even tinier hat, in my opinion more along the lines of something that fits a newborn head although not for long.

That's a great idea! As much as I love knitting baby things for my own babies, I think I love knitting them for other babies even more.
That's so thoughtful of you! She'll love it, esp. knowing that you are busy with the new baby (and big kids) right now.
To finish even one piece would be amazing!!!! Good luck with it and everything!
she will cherish that gift and you are very thoughtful!!
