Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

I finished baby's balloon pants over the weekend and instantly cast on the Tír Chonaill - Baby Wearing Edition. I love the idea of this to keep baby and I warm during our outside time in the winter months. The pattern has a steek sandwich, and that makes me quite nervous but I am going to be brave and just go for it. I chose bright and cheerful colors to surround him and also help cover any stains that may come (because I know they will!).

What are you working on? Happy creating!

Go for it - steeking is one of those things that seems a lot scarier than it is, once you've done it once you never look back!
This is such pretty colorwork and so cheery for wintertime!
Such a brilliant idea! I had two winter babies, and could have used that!! Love your colors.
Hey Nicole I know this is a bit off the subject of this post but I had a question for you about American Heritage Girls. I was wondering if its expensive to get started and if there are additional expenses involved and also how your girls like it? You can email me if you want my email is peaceforme.kr@gmail.com. Thanks for this blog '
I've been following you for years and I love watching your girls and sweet L grow up! My girl and your K are almost the same age and I know they would be great friends! Love in Jesus Name Kate
That is absolutely beautiful!! How did you learn how to do color work? Did you learn from a book?
And what a sweet treat for your baby to be wearing such gorgeous and warm knits ;)
