Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

Long story short - I don't have a current work in progress to share due to technical difficulties. Instead I thought I would share my finished package for the Martinmas swap I am in. I already mailed out the little lantern children and wool acorn necklaces to the swap coordinator and now I my children and I wait with great anticipation to see what beautiful handmade goodies we get in return.

p.s. - lantern children pattern and details here.

What are you working on? Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post, Instagram #craftingon or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

The lantern children are just so sweet! I love their little felt lanterns. Did you make them from a pattern or just make it up along the way?

I modified them from the pattern I linked to above. I just knit them in the round and did a couple other little things. http://ravel.me/FrontierDreams/lc2
Beautiful! Those little lantern children are just so lovely!
They are so cute and turned out so well! I love the acorn necklaces, too!
Those are so adorable! What a great idea the swop is. Whoever receives your lantern children and those acorn necklaces will be over the moon! I rather fancy an acorn ne knack myself!
Will be linking up tomorrow - starting the owls on my owlet tonight so will post tomorrow. Yikes! But not as Yikes as I feel about the short rows! Any tips?! Have a wonderful week

oh fun! I love that knit. L needs a new one actually :) My only tip is to knit it top down but that is just my preference. ;)

What a sweet idea those little lantern children are! I'd better not show my little ones, or else they'll want some too! :)

oh yes! I linked to it above. It's on ravelry. I think I need to knit three more for our nature table - 1 to represent each of my children <3

I just love your swap crafts - Just casted on for a little lantern doll. Thanks for sharing.
