Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

KCCO Just when I thought I had everything together for K's birthday, I realized I didn't finish her birthday dress yet! Good thing I happened to look in the hidden birthday bag.

When I pre-ordered the fabric a couple of months ago,  I asked K what her current favorite color was. She told me blue. Of course now it is green but I only ordered enough of the blue fabric to sew a dress. I am thinking of adding pockets in the green fabric. What do you think?

What are you working on?! Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

rerelease of Heather Ross' Far Far Away line :)
Pockets in green would be cute!
I wouldn't add green pockets it would take away from the lovely fabric. I'm sure she will love it!
I love the fabric and the dress, but I think that the two colors do not match well.
Love to read you.

I would try the green fabric for pockets and a large border at the bottom. And a coordinated purse/bag, definitely!
Green pockets would look beautiful Nicole!

hello, I have just found your blog this week and it is lovely =) Green pockets would be fun or it would be great as is. I know my girl LOOOVES pockets though!
I love the pattern on the fabrics so whimsical! I cannot imagine a life without a yarn stash or a fabric stash :)
Oh, that fabric is beautiful! So perfect. My little Elizabeth would swoon over those unicorns! : ) Blue pockets or green pockets, the dress will be lovely : )
Love, Love that fabric!! It will be a beautiful dress.
I think the blue dress with green pockets would look nice. Both fabrics are cute.
LOve the fabric!
It will be a wonderful dress both with and without green pockets :)
I just love your creativity!
LOVE the dress. I would leave the blue dress as is- I think she will love it. IF the green is just 'burning a hole in your pocket' I would make a little apron or bag out of it.
