The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. I am just about in the homestretch on C's belated birthday sweater, and feeling a bit relieved that I made it with room to grow - it's much too hot here now for a sweater. She'll get lots of use out of it this upcoming fall and winter, though.
