Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

kcco - k's addition kcco - my addition Please forgive my absence, we have been making memories with some of our dearest friends visiting us from back home in Oregon. As I am sure you can imagine, I haven't had the need to craft to keep calm while they were here. That said, I do have a couple of projects to share. K and I made a Phoebe Mermouse as a birthday gift for one of our visiting friends. We forgot how much we love working on that project together.

Also, I was lucky enough to be a test knitter for Linda's latest designs and am just picking out the yarn to knit it with. I am debating between a brown horse with a black mane and tail (like the real horse K dreams of having on day), or a more dreamy horse that is yellow and gold (K's favorite colors) with a gold mane and tail. Decisions, decisions! What do you think?

What are you working on?! Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

They were always my favs!
Gorgeous yarn Nicole! I love Linda's patterns too.
All the yarn looks so lovely, I can see you dilemma. I lean toward the brown horse but either way it will look lovely using those yarns.
What beautiful yarn, I would go for the brown horse with black mane :)
I do love your yarn collection :) Very pretty!!
Thanks for hosting!
Your yarn is lovely, I am currently obsessing over yellow yarn!
Beautiful yarn!!! I like the idea of yellow and gold, that way it can seem like a ray of sunshine as it runs across the field :D
Me and my kids are currently working on a DIY craft, my kids enjoys the crafting project so much as a matter of fact we are planning to do more after we finish the current project.
