Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

This picture was inspired by the amazingly talented Amanda.

Back to work on Little L's Livingston. I am about half way through it now and fall more in love with it with every stitch I make. This yarn is just what I was hoping for. It reminds me of the seagulls Kevin, K and I use to watch soar over the Chesapeake Bay bridge back when we lived in Virginia.

As I knit this I am reminded that I haven't read Jonathan Livingston Seagull in many years. It almost feels like a tragedy that it's been that long. I believe I will be making a trip to our local library tomorrow to remedy that.

What are you working on? Happy creating!

p.s - Come back later this week for a giveaway from one of our favorite toymakers!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

Richard Bach had such an influence on me, from Jonathon L.S. to A Gift of Wings, One, The Bridge Across Forever...wow! Have you read "There's No Such Place As Far Away"? Might be a beautiful gift for some of your children's friends and teachers when you move...stunning watercolour art!

Thanks for reminding me...it's time to read these books again!
Awww so sweet that your little yarny heart was inspired by me :) I LOVE the colour of that yarn. And that stitch pattern - so gorgeous. I'm working on another pair of socks... which feel never ending. Mainly because it's something I "have" to knit.
Beautiful photo! I am challenged in taking interesting pictures of my knitting. I left a link about our trip to Northern MN and the socks I knit while visiting there.
Oh, that's just gorgeous. I love the color and your work, but the presentation is too sweet. <3
I love the pattern. Looks lovely in your yarn choice - so soft and dreamy.
