Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.
001 Another birthday gift, another Handmade Beginnings project.
C has been lamenting over her lack of a Henny Penny ever since K got one for Christmas, so I thought that might make a nice birthday gift for her. This one will be different than K's, though. I am using the pattern from Handmade Beginnings which has velcro wings and chicks instead of pockets. It looks absolutely adorable in the photographs, and I just happened to have enough of the yellow folksy flannel fabric left from Little L's Easter pants to make it, too.

Just keep sewing, just keep sewing, sewing, sewing, just keep sewing What do we do? We sew!
What are you working on? Happy creating!

p.s - Do any of you happen to have a bunny knitting chart that you love? I have an idea in mind for C's birthday sweater. She's on a bunny kick right now. I only need one bunny off the chart and am hoping to have it rather small.

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

Adorable! I love the fabric you choose.
Oh, my chicken loving boy would love one of those too! I love the fabrics!
Aw looks like that little chicken is going to be so darling! :)
Lovely chicken. I'll see if I can find a small bunny chart in some old Dutch magazines. Hopefully a chart can be easily figured out without knowledge of the language (assuming I find a small bunny).

Aww, thank you for looking for me! I ended up finding one on ravelry.
I love the little chicken too! I am sorry I don't know how but my link has shown up twice, I know I refreshed the window so maybe that caused it to show up twice. Thanks for doing this every week, I love to visit the other blogs and see what all these wonderfully creative folks have been up to.
That is so cute! I'm sure C will love it.
beautiful fabric! thanks for hosting :)
I just linked up...and I'm looking forward to seeing how a chicken looks in that lovely fabric!
You are good with the making birthday presents: I just seem to be always playing catch up!

Eh, not so good. I still have pieces of fabric in a pile on my shelf that I cut out for a doll papoose... It was meant for C's birthday last year...
