Little Mama

"Baby L, please hold still"

"Mama, he won't hold still"

Moving in for a close up - could she get any closer?!

Oh my silly little C! It was such a sweet moment but also a wake up call for me. It really made me realize I need to be a bit more respectful of all of my little ones' space and not always have my camera in their faces. Once again, my greatest teachers are my children.

In case you missed it, The LittleWool giveaway winner was announced last night here. A big THANK YOU to Karen of LittleWool for the giveaway and to all of you that entered.

So adorable! I love the basket, I've had one too for my girls.

It's literally falling apart since it was used by both girls before L but oh how we love it. It really is such a simple, beautiful thing, isn't it?
Oh I love it! My littles had that same camera, what memories...thank you.

Thank you! The camera was a gift for K's 2nd birthday I think... so I am not sure but there is one very similar here: http://www.rosiehippo.com/p-1976-camera.aspx

Why yes, yes it is!
what an awesome little wooden camera!
So sweet! My daughter is the same way with my son. :)
Those are really precious pictures, but I empathize with this mirror your daughter has held up for you. My daughters can tell when I'm trying to capture *them* in a photograph, and when I'm trying to capture *the* photograph. When it's the latter, they squirrel up their noses, and make sour faces, and turn their backs. They know that I'm more focused on getting a nice picture, and not paying attention to the child on the other side of the lens.
