Travel Log : Day 9 - Idaho & OREGON!!

Honestly, Idaho was a blur. As soon as Kevin mentioned that we would be crossing the border to Oregon by early evening my brain lost all focus. I was so caught up in the thought that it would only be 2 more days until the end of the Oregon Trail that I didn't even think of taking any pictures until this one...

It was hidden by trees on a bridge and we almost missed it. Kevin stopped the van 1/4 of a mile away and I ran back to it as giddy as a school girl. What a sight that must have been for the passers by! Did I care, though? Of course not! We were finally in Oregon.

The river under the bridge

Land where Kevin parked (just across the bridge)

Our frontiersman (He bought the hat just for this trip!)

Llama dreaming in the car...

Wake up, wake up! Here we are!
Yes, we had a quick change of clothes. You can also see my WIP on the dashboard of the van. Look at that! I DID do a WIP Wednesday post ;)

The silver moon spilling it's light over the valley by our hotel making all things quietly beautiful.

Almost there! Happy trails!!
