Late pics of Winter Crafts

You saw the felted acorn necklace a few posts back and I don't have a pic of her tree blocks yet but heres 2 other things I made her:

1st is a sweet little waldorf baby boy
(pattern from Joys Waldorf Dolls)with bunting outfit,hat,and cloth diaper. I have not been able to make his hair..it requires crocheting and i can't seem to do it so for right now his hat is attached to his head but I will at some point have someone make the hair or something. I also made a sling for him as well. I took lini to the fabric store and had her pic out her favorite fabric but didn't tell her what it was for,tee hee.


Then I made a night gown and matching cloth diaper for her K baby. My mother bought K some Pjs to wear X-mas eve so I figured her baby needed to have a new nightgown too :) K's new pjs were snowflakes and i wanted to try and match that theme but the fabric store didn't have any snowflake fabric! crazy right?! but K loved this snowman fabric so I got her that instead.

Heres the yarn she picked for me to knit either longies or shorties for her.the pattern starts the same so i'll wait until I am on the legs to ask her which she wants.

Midnight and Geisha cuddling together on our bed. Its a rare sight still to see Geisha so I was surprised I got these pics.



Geisha alone, you can see her eye is still not 100% healed but it's getting there. She goes to the vet again Friday.

Nara and K last week and pics of K last Halloween

LOL i know i know Halloween pics now?!?! but my camera was real bad in October and my friend D'Anne took pics of lini in her costume. I just got them a couple days ago and had to share. Her and Fiona were bees together <3



here's some pics of Nara and K playing outside last week. Nara is twice this size now, I have to get new pics of her. They had so much fun together outside!
Sadly now Nara is in DESPERATE need of training shes getting really unruly so her and lini can't play together as often without me right there to stop Nara from biting her :( Kevin is getting her training soon though.
our kitties too are on hard times right now. Midnight had an upper respiratory infection but went on antibiotics and is better now. Geisha has something wrong with her eye. The vet thinks maybe nara hit it on accident so shes on some eye drops but now shes sneezing so we think she has what midnight had. *sigh*

more knitted goodies for little sprout

malabrigo merino yarn *drool* in autumn forest colorway... I am in love! These longies are my new pride and joy.

anyways.... this is the picky pants pattern. my new fav pattern for longies. so easy and they came out perfect.and a wonderful gusset in them too!! this is the 1st diaper cover i have ever made that came out perfect. although i didn't gauge so instead of a size small they are a size newborn. oh well sprout will still wear them for a little while ;) I am goingto make some booties out of this yarn as well.



k wants me to knit her a pair and she picked out this colorway in the malabrigo:

i ordered it yesterday and will start on them for her as soon as it gets here...we hardly have any longies for her to wear..although winter is almost done here. I also ordered a pattern to knit her a sweater and sprout a cardigan.

I also made this soaker (another diaper cover). It has a few flaws and seems a bit tall so I think I may have done something wrong but i'll try again :) It's newborn size as well.

Very Late December NY trip pics

We went up to NY to see my family at the end of December and it was a great time! K,especially had TONS of fun. She hadn't seen her cousins in over a year so she was excited! She loved playing with them so much. She was sad to go. But luckily we will see them this summer when they come down here to see us. K is talking about this non-stop. She says Uncle Mark is going to sit in her booster seat at the table. She also says that Grampa is going to do yoga with her. LOL
I look forward to when we move back up closer to NY and are able to see my family more often.
She has been talking non-stop about everyone sense we left. She even has an Uncle Mark song.
She also got to play in snow for the 1st time and had so much fun. I too surprisingly miss the snow and realize I truly need to live where we can experience all 4 seasons. Virginia is nice but its much too hot for my taste and doesn't really have seasons at all.

On January 1st K and I made some snowflake pancakes and she LOVED them.

I think it' time we move to our farm house! LOL

Our kitten Midnight has grown a lot in the last 3 months. He loves cuddling with us at night.
He now has a new play friend Geisha, who as you can see by the pics is like a ghost. We just got her Saturday night and she's still getting used to us. She was a rescue kitten. She is the same age as Midnight. Something about her eyes reminded me of my 1st baby so I couldn't pass her by.





Lastly, our newest baby Nara. We just got her last night. She is a German-german shepard not an american german shepard. She is very sweet and LOVES K. She's trying to befriend the kitties and Midnight is coming up to her but Geisha is still afraid.

My 1st baby is gone

Our kitty passed away this afternoon.She was 20 years old. She waited until we got back from New York. I miss her already. I was there for her last breathe but sadly I was not there to comfort her, K was cranky and needed me. I don't know how I am going to explain where she went to K yet.
