Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.
KCCO - from my children KCCO - C's progress KCCO - creating a Waldorf doll sweater pattern
First up this week is my children's contribution to KCCO - a gift for a very dear friend who celebrates his birthday this week. Each one of my children are working on the gift (from this book) in one way or another. C was sewing on eyes in the picture above. We are hoping we can mail it out today or tomorrow so it gets to Oregon in time.

While they have been happily working on that project, I have been trying to create a Christmas gift - a sweater for Little L's Waldorf doll. Orange is his absolute favorite color so that was a given, but a pattern was a harder decision. In the end I decided to just make up my own. We'll see how it goes!

What are you working on?! Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

It's wonderful to see your little ones being so creative. The orange yarn looks delicious, I'm sure little L will be thrilled with it. Thanks for hosting
once again.

You are so organised! Christmas gifts already! I love the wee pirate hat, and that all the children will contribute to it, what a lovely idea.
cute sweater for a doll! Now that is super fast knitting :)
Oh, the pirate hat! Asher has one, made for him by a lovely fellow blogger in a craft swap a few months ago. Such a fabulous gift! xo
The orange is perfect! I can't wait to see how it turns out. Birthday gift making is so much fun. The girls and I just finished up a pillow together to give to a friend very soon. The pirate hat is adorable. I know that's probably not a very pirate thing to say but it's true.
