The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. Sorry for the late post - our internet has been down since yesterday afternoon. I am currently working on a little surprise gift for my youngest. I got him the book "The Curious Fish" by Elsa Beskow and am knitting him wool socks to match the ones the little boy wears (you can see them in the photo). Of course it is way too hot here right now for wool socks so I am adding a half inch to the length. Hopefully they will fit perfectly this autumn.
