Crafting On

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. I fought the yarn and the yarn won. My latest game of yarn chicken didn't work out so well. This sweet little Mimi Pixiehat that I am knitting for a friend's baby is so close to finished. Alas, I have to wait on another skein of yarn to arrive just to knit the other i-cord strap. Thankfully I am knitting this to fit her sweet baby girl in the late autumn/winter time so she'll still have plenty of time to wear it.
