Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

Hoping to make autumn come sooner, I have been busying myself with autumn crafts. One of them is a hedgehog window transparency inspired by my sweet C and her love of hedgehogs. I am working from this lovely window transparency book. Yes, it is all in German but the instructions are easy enough to follow with the diagrams and photos.

What are you working on? Happy creating!

p.s. - See that beautiful piece of wood that is currently our table centerpiece? It is actually a cutting board made by my friend Ginny's talented husband. I just can't bring myself to cut on it yet.

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post, Instagram #craftingon or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!

Oh that's so pretty! My littlest two made (or helped Daddy make) some Easter transparencies in the parent and toddler group at school and they're so pretty they're still up now, even though the tissue paper has faded a little bit over the summer :)
What a pretty craft. I think you can do anything! Oh, I'm glad you got one of Jonny's cutting boards. They sure are beautiful. Enjoy your week. I love seeing what you are working on. I showed my daughter the pictures of your baa-ble hats and she was amazed at your talent.

The passing of Labor Day has put me in the mind for Fall cleaning and decorating as well. I have been thinking on brown, orange, and yellow window stars. I can't wait to see how this little hedgie comes to life. :)
I have decorated for fall already inside my house, completely ignoring the outside heat wave. I am so done with summer...
What a lovely idea, I can't wait to see more of your transparencies!
