Oh the Weather Outside was Frightful (and Absolutely Beautiful)

...but the fire was so delightful!

The first week after L was born was celebrated by King Winter with snow, snow and more snow. It was such a blessing. The girls had the week off from school which meant lots of time to play in that wonderful snow. It literally snowed every day that week, even if it was only for a few minutes some of the days. Kevin, the girls and our dogs had a blast enjoying our winter gift as much as possible while L and I stayed warm by the fire enjoying the beauty and fun from the window. It really couldn't get any more perfect.

I'll be back again soon with those really late Christmas pics I promised as well as some of L's knitted goodness.

Thank you everyone for your warm wishes and congrats. We read and savored every single one and plan on saving them in L's baby book. We are so blessed for kind souls like all of you!

L's hat (because so many of you asked) is a ruskovilla silk cap. Our dear friend Tiffeni gifted it to us.

Congratulations again! I love snow and could use more of it. My friends think I am nuts since we had heaps of it this Winter. I knitted the exact same blanket for my last babe. Wonderful photos and family!

He's so absolutely beautiful! I've been away from blogs for a bit and it suddenly occurred to me tonight that he was probably in your arms now! He's so darling in all of his sweet, sweet mama made! You must want to eat him up! X

That hat is enough to make me have another baby, just so I can have a little silk-capped babe in MY house! Gorgeous, and so cozy!

He is SO very precious and that little hat is adorable. They look all cuddly and toasty next to the fire...looking at your baby makes me SO anxious to meet our little Finn in April. :)
