Here it is our van!

Well, we finally went and got a van. We really needed it. No one could fit in our car,the poor dog couldn't even ride with us, the car seats had us pushed into the steering wheel and dashboard, we are having more kids.. well you get the idea.
anyways,after a couple months of research we went with the Toyota sienna. It had the most of what we were looking for (like high safety,8 passenger instead of 7).

so here it is...
i wanted the silver pine green color but there weren't any available so we got this blue instead

Air Show! The moment K has been waiting for

K has been looking forward to the air show for months and months now and she finally got to go. Shes been seeing the planes practicing from our back yard for the past week or so (we live 5 mins from base) and has been 'so excited' as she says. She is like me in that regard. I love planes, I love flying,it's so very interesting to me. As much as I love nature I love my planes. Kinda funny huh?

Here she is with her special ear protection. She's been looking forward to wearing these too. C had hers on as well but she was in the beco baby carrier on my chest so no pics of her.


The Memphis Belle, I'm sure everyone knows the story behind this plane (btw this is not the original belle).I've been fascinated with this plane a long time now so I was excited to see this.

THE HELICOPTER!!

She is obsessed with helicopters and has been wanting to see one up close for a long time now This was even better for her b/c she could get in it!! She didn't want to leave.
Daddy had to help buckle her in.


She tried out every seat and buckled herself in each one...

Air Show! The moment K has been waiting for

1st day of summer!

Here is our beginning summer nature table. It's a bit cluttered looking to me but K directed where everything went and what she wanted on there this time <3 The kitties have discovered our nature table unfortunately so I'm not sure how long it will last.


Ahhh the sweetest smell there is, freshly cut basil in our kitchen for fresh marinara sauce. yum,yum!!
I'm getting a lot better at meal planning and it's making life a lot more sane,easier and happier! I'm also trying to make thing ahead and freeze them. The freezer is a whole new concept to me LOL. Although last night I made some super yummy pumpkin soup to freeze and spilled half of it everywhere. I was not too happy with that. What a waste of time,money,energy,etc. *sigh* oh well, live and learn, right? No sense in crying over spilled soup,eh?!

E in some cute shorties our friend mailed us. They fit her perfectly!!

1st day of summer!

E is 2 months old!

Can you believe it?! I can't! Shes still my newborn!!

I have to admit it's nice this time around to have so many people say she looks like me :)To be brutally honest I got sick of hearing how much K looked/looks like Kevin. Sounds silly huh? E started out looking like K and Kevin but now not very much at all!

As of yesterday she is 2 months,that is.She had her 2 month appt. weighs 12lbs 2 oz and is 24" long. She weighs 2 lbs less than K did at this age,and is 1/2" shorter. I think thats thanks to figuring out my over supply problem. K is super healthy but was too chubby as a baby in my opinion so I am happy we figured out why she was that way and can stop E from getting that way. She is still my cute little chub-a-lub :)

Different varieties of tomatoes. We have about 6 different varieties this year,some heirloom,some small and some big. I hope we get a good crop this year like we did last year, this year I'm not experiencing morning sickness so I can actually work in the garden.

K has night weaned and has decided she wants to sleep in her room now. So I had to take all my stuff out of it, I was using her room as my craft/storage room. It still needs some work but is pretty much done. She spent her 1st night up there last night. Daddy sleeps with her until she wants him outta there <3 We are saving to buy her an organic mattress and bed frame but that will be a few months,they aren't cheap!!

Not much. Living in georgia,working at a camera store, taking photography classes at an art college,traveling for animal rights protests...

live in the middle of nowhere, be 100% self sufficiant,have a beautiful farm...

de-cluttering like crazy,marinara sauce and E!

I honestly get too tired some nights to make the whole meal from scratch so I decided to make some marinara sauce in advance and freeze 1 jar and put the other jar in the fridge, that way I'm set for a quick meal when I'm too tired.



E is getting a lot bigger,as you can tell by how big she is in her hammock now,although I did put her in it kinda low,too.



Here she is in the beco,her head is visible now,it used to be super low in it.



Lastly,some of my accomplishments in our house de-cluttering. All of that went to a local women's shelter yesterday. Its great simplifying our lives,cleaning up our clutter and also helping people all at once!!

I allready can't stand the heat but 103 degrees?!?! That is just beyond insane! Our air conditioning ran non stop. We tried to make the best of it and went 'swimming'. This was E's 1st experience in a pool, and although she love love LOVES baths...she doesn't like pools LOL.

I have to say,no shes not that fat, LOL thats a huge air bubble making her look huge. that bathing siut was K's and is way to big on her too.

Monday is muffin day

In keeping with our Waldorf philosophy we are tryin to create rythms/routines for the girls. With E it's not too muc right now other than bed time LOL but with K,she needs more. Before E was born Monday was muffin day and every MOnday K and I would wake up and make muffins for breakfast. Today we finally started back up again. We decided we'd make banana bread muffins since our bananas were very,very ripe. Luckily,none of my muffin recipes call for soy ingredients.
They came out super yummy and K loves to help!



The other day K found a way to get into my make up bag. I was nursing E and she came up to me saying "Mama I'm brushing my hair". I looked up and saw black streaks in her hair,she was brushing her hair with my mascara wand! I couldn' get mad b/c it was so funny!!



Lastly, this is where I found Geisha the other day when I put K down for a nap. Such a silly cat! She is really so special. She wants nothign to do with the rest ofthe family but follows me everywhere and loves me non-stop. I love it!
