The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. I have been making a bit of progress on my
Campside Cardi while my cat Arctica has been successfully covering my cardi with her fur. I am
literally knitting her fur into it (not by choice, mind you!). She sits in my lap every single time I work on it. I think it might take me longer to get all her fur out in the end than it did for me to knit it! Oh well.

Just popping in quick to say look what came in the mail for me yesterday, on my birthday no less! I have been greatly anticipating this book and with C starting up her homeschooling again next week this is just perfect timing! Off to print out the companion journal and dive in!
