Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.
KCCO - Martinmas #2 KCCO - Martinmas sweater

My friend Katherine's beautiful Martinmas sweater pattern was released today! Plenty of time to knit one up before Martinmas is upon us. You can check it out here. She even has a giveaway for the pattern going on right now on her blog!

I am nearly finished with the blue/green Martinmas sweater I have been working on. All that is left is to sew on the buttons (Wooly Moss Roots, of course) and block it. Although I initially planned on giving it to K, I decided to give it to C instead. K could have worn it this year but then would have outgrown it shortly after. I prefer to make my knits a little bit on the bigger side so that they can get more than one year out of them (hopefully). So I am now casting on another Martinmas sweater in the next size up for K. The beautiful golden yellow yarn you see photographed above is the same yarn Katherine used for her original Martinmas. It's absolutely gorgeous and looks so great with K's golden hair.

I finished up the two pumpkin hats before the end of the week but alas, I do not have any photos to prove it. One was for C, as I mentioned, but the other was for K's dear friend that shared his birthday celebration with K over the weekend. I'll be back with photos from that. It was such an amazing day!

What are you working on? Happy creating!!

p.s - Last day to enter the Hilitos knitted bunny giveaway. Come back later this week for another fun giveaway!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!
