Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

It appears that I have been doing too much hand work these days. Impossible, right?! That's what I would say but my wrists will tell you a different story. I have barely been able to do a thing craft wise.

I first started having pain in my wrists right after K was born. It hurt to nurse her or hold her, or to do just about anything with my hands. I went to the doctor in fear of carpal tunnel syndrome - I could remember my Mom having that. The doctor checked my wrists and said it was probably the start of CTS but he gave me some magical wrist bands to wear that held my wrists in the proper position. After a month or so of wearing them the pain went away. Every now and again the pain comes back but if I wear the wrist bands to bed it's usually better by morning. Usually being the key word here. The bands seem to have lost their magic. I think it's time to make another doctors appointment. I hope I can still finish the girls' Easter gifts in time. I'm in the homestretch with them but we'll see.

Oh, and happy day before spring! The root children will be showing up here on Wednesday. Just in case I forgot (which is a normal thing around here), I wanted to share past Easter/spring tutorials and ideas with you, all in one place:

Wet felted eggs to store gifts in
Sprouted grass in an egg shell, Easter table decoration, Easter basket with a chick puppet & more
Beeswax egg candles
Beeswax and tissue paper flowers

What are you working on? Happy creating!

If you would like to link up and share your current works in progress (or finished works) please leave your link below. It can now be either to your specific blog post or Flickr photo. There are no rules, only that your link is current and something about a craft project (of any kind) you are working on. Don't forget that there is now a KCCO Flickr group for you to share your crafting photos at anytime.

Please remember to link back here so that others who may want to join KCCO can find us.

It's as simple as that. Remember your post can be from any day of the week, it doesn't have to be today. We all love feedback so if you have a moment please leave a comment on some of the KCCO posts you may visit. I know from my own experience just how much your comments really motivate me! Now please share and inspire us all!
